Yes, sometimes it happens – something happens sometimes with a car, where the standard speaker starts to wheeze. Most often, such a speaker is simply replaced with something simple and inexpensive. But sometimes the owners of wheezing speakers decide to fully improve the music in the car. This is what happened with this Toyota Prado 150. <\/p>\n\n

So, the complaint was about a wheezing speaker and the wish was to make the sound louder and better. Think about the quality of modern cars, if the factory acoustics wheeze a couple of years after the car was released. <\/p>\n\n

As you can see in the photo above, we chose a laconic kit to replace the standard wheezing one. At the head is the Musway processor amplifier. And the speakers for the front and rear were chosen from the Focal Integration series. This acoustics is designed specifically to replace the factory speakers, it copes perfectly with all music genres, has excellent characteristics and compact dimensions. One of the advantages of the Focal Integration series is a set of two-component acoustics with midbass speakers in the size of 6×9 inches. This is the factory size of almost all Toyota, and we always recommend choosing this size for these cars. <\/p>\n\n

I won’t tell you much here. We made audio preparation for all four doors, which in the factory version had no audio preparation. It is not needed for the standard poor speakers. But for the processor audio system, noise insulation is vital. <\/p>\n\n

Next we make the first layer – this is vibration insulation made from materials from the Ukrainian manufacturer CTK\/Acoustics<\/p>\n\n

Next, we make the second layer of vibration insulation using the same materials. By the way, the thickness of the material is 2 mm. For the door card, we use a noise absorber 15 mm thick. <\/p>\n\n
