Rear view camera for Mazda 3 2018 – connection to the standard monitor

Brand new cars straight from the showroom rarely come to us. As a rule, owners are in no hurry to install additional equipment. For two reasons:
- Many do not want to lose the so-called warranty on the car. No comments here.
- Many people think that their new cars already have enough useful devices installed from the factory, so why spend more…
However, often additional equipment can be installed simply because it is possible to save a lot. For example, as in this case, when for Mazda 3 2018 the showroom offered a rear view camera for the factory monitor for $400, and in our studio it cost $100, you can evaluate the quality of the work yourself…
This is what our box looks like:
Installed rear view camera in the standard place instead of the license plate light. The rear view camera was chosen Prime-X CA-1360.
The whole question was how to connect a non-factory camera to a factory monitor. In this case, we used the Connects2 CAM-MZ1-AD adapter.
