Installing an audio processor in a Mercedes GLE to improve the standard car audio can really help make music sound better in this car? Firstly, this project is only the first stage of improving the car audio in a Mercedes. This stage can be followed by subsequent replacement of the standard acoustics with the installation of new speakers, and the next stage after this can be the installation of a subwoofer.

After agreeing on the budget and choosing which audio processor will be installed, taking into account the price and dimensions, we begin disassembling the interior in the place where the new device will be located. We chose the place for installing the audio processor in the Mercedes GLE under the front passenger seat.

For this project, we chose an ultra-compact car processor amplifier from the Match brand. It is a mid-level one, but it is sufficient for the level of the audio system that we have at the moment. But even if we replace the factory speakers with higher-level acoustics in the future, this audio processor will be enough for all our car audio purposes.

One of the advantages of this processor amplifier is the ability to use cables with factory Mercedes connectors, so as not to cut or damage the standard wires. This makes the installation of the new device in Mercedes cars reliable and safe.

And as a result – the processor amplifier is installed under the seat, connected to the factory electrical system using special cables, nothing is broken, no one will see traces of installation after assembling the car. But the car audio in the Mercedes GLE will ultimately become much richer. Even despite the fact that the owner of this particular car listens mainly to the radio, after installing the application for listening to digital radio, the sound has changed significantly for the better, according to the owner.

Setting up the Mercedes GLE audio processor

And as an important and final stage of installing a processor amplifier – this is the setup. We carry out individual setup each time, taking into account what kind of car it is and what musical preferences the owner of the car has. We do the setup to our taste, but when handing over the project, the car owner can make his wishes and we can make changes to the program in real time in his presence.
