Nissan Ariya with new car audio and CarPlay on the standard monitor

This car came to us from the city of Rivne (Volyn region). The owner of this Nissan Ariya trusted our experience in installing new equipment, watched all our videos on our YouTube channel, and also read all the articles on this site. We ourselves would come to our studio from another city to be calm about our car and the quality of the new car audio. Below we will describe the entire process of replacing the standard car audio, and if you want to watch a video about this project, then at the end of this article you can find our video.

So, what’s our proposal for this car that’s unique and different from other Nissan Ariyas? The design is probably standard and the one we typically use in our installations—proven, proven, and guaranteed to deliver the expected results. The only thing that differentiates this project from others like it is the equipment, and not in class or price, but simply in the brands used.
So, we installed a new audio system to replace the stock one. The heart of the system is a processor amplifier, which allowed us to implement channel-by-channel connections for each speaker—there are six of them (four in the front and two in the rear). We also installed an active subwoofer in the trunk, nestled in the spare tire well.
Installing Speakers in Nissan Ariya
This is what the front door of the Nissan Ariya looked like, which has only a hint of sound insulation and a cardboard speaker-muffler, “thanks” to which you will never hear music in this car in decent quality.

We fixed this – we did vibration insulation of the doors (all four), treated the door panels with noise-absorbing material from a Ukrainian manufacturer, plus installed mid-bass speakers in the front doors and coaxial speakers in the rear doors.

We also installed broadband speakers in the dashboard under the windshield. Whenever you can use a broadband speaker instead of a tweeter, it’s better to use one! This makes the car audio in your car significantly brighter, cleaner, more detailed, and more natural.

Subwoofer for Nissan Ariya
We chose the same subwoofer design as we always do for these vehicles—the spare tire well. It’s the perfect choice for this situation! The trunk remains completely free and untouched. Installing a subwoofer in the spare tire well has several advantages: it’s faster and cheaper without sacrificing much quality.

We hadn’t used this device in previous projects, although we often use a subwoofer volume remote control in our installations. We coordinated the remote’s installation location with the client of this Nissan Ariya, and the end result was this:

CarPlay for Nissan Ariya
You can see how the CarPlay module works in the Nissan Ariya in our video (see below). However, to install it, we had to disassemble half the dashboard…
