Subaru Forester Sound Enhancement

The case when minor changes in sound brought the owner of Subaru Forester a significant improvement in mood every day. Yes, the standard sound in Subaru is deplorable. Yes, few decide to change it, because – who knows, how it will turn out. But those who take a step towards good sound, never regret it (at least I really hope so).

So, we have a Subaru Forester, which, by the way, came to us from Kherson, it has factory speakers and a factory radio and we need to do something about it. Our experience tells us that you can achieve a good result with a little effort and therefore boldly use Audison Prima and enjoy life for us and the owner of the Subaru with new music. So we did it:

• To the front – Audison AP 690 (6×9 oval midbass speakers in the front doors) + Audison AP 1 (tweeter in the dashboard)
• At the rear – Hertz CX 165 (coaxials)
• High-quality audio preparation for all four doors

The source remains the same – the regular Main Directorate

The doors were traditionally treated with materials from the Ukrainian manufacturer of sound insulation Acoustics. To install the midbass speakers in the front doors, CARAV 14-011 spacer rings were used.

The tweeters were mounted in the regular place in the dashboard

Traditionally, we always compare the standard/factory speakers with the new ones, and as always, even the external comparison is not in favor of the factory ones:

The same story with the rear doors – we did noise insulation and installed Hertz CX 165 speakers through CARAV 14-005 spacer rings in the standard places of the Subaru Forester

This is such a simple job, but the result is excellent! What is the budget? The turnkey cost was almost 20,000 UAH.
